Who is responsible

PRV Concept, a French non-profit association (RNA W782000389), represented by its president. Contact for anything related to your data: president@prv-concept.com.

What we collect, and why

Contribution forms: surname, first name, nickname, email address and the submitted content or file. They are sent to the association BY EMAIL (Infomaniak mail server) — this site keeps no database of submissions. Used only to process your contribution and credit you if you agree.
Anti-spam protection: submissions are technically screened (including the IP address) to block robots — Cloudflare Turnstile challenge plus a minimal technical log, purged regularly. Legal basis: legitimate interest in protecting the service.
Journal counters: view and like counters are anonymous aggregates — no personal data, no profile.
Site assistant: messages sent to the assistant are processed automatically to generate an answer (service hosted in the European Union). No account, no named history, no reuse.
Forum and shop: separate spaces with accounts — they manage their own data (phpBB and WooCommerce), with the same contact as above.

Cookies

This showcase site uses NO cookies and no tracker. Your language preference is stored in your own browser (localStorage) and never sent to us. The forum and the shop, which require accounts, use their own strictly functional session cookies.

Embedded YouTube videos. Some pages display a video player hosted by YouTube: the Tuners page, a Journal article, and any forum message in which a member has inserted a video. These players use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (the youtube-nocookie.com domain): no advertising or personalisation cookie is set unless playback is started. Displaying the page does, however, open a connection to YouTube's servers (Google), which then receive your IP address, the address of the page and your browser's technical data; if you play the video, that view may be associated with your Google account when you are signed in. This processing is governed by Google's privacy policy, over which the association has no control. To avoid it, do not start playback, or browse with a third-party content blocker.

Embedded Dailymotion videos. Forum messages posted between 2009 and 2013 embedded videos through a Flash player, which no browser has supported since 2020: those players showed an empty rectangle. The surviving videos have been re-linked to Dailymotion's current player. Unlike YouTube, Dailymotion offers no privacy-enhanced domain: displaying the page opens connections to Dailymotion's servers AND to Google advertising servers (doubleclick.net, googlesyndication.com), which receive your IP address and your browser's technical data. We measured it: no cookie is set as long as you do not start playback. This processing is governed by Dailymotion's privacy policy, over which the association has no control. To avoid it, browse with a third-party content blocker.

Retention

Contribution emails are kept for the time needed to process and archive the documentary material; the anti-spam technical log is short-lived; counters are anonymous aggregates with no duration issue.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may access, rectify or erase your data, and object to a processing operation: write to president@prv-concept.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
